Spring Camporee 2018
Here ye, here ye! Join us as we venture back to the days of old and partake of all the fun and games of a medieval
camp at the Indian Springs District Spring Camporee.  With fun and games sure to please even the most advanced in
the realm, this promises to be the greatest even the kingdom has yet seen.
When:          March 23 - 25
Where:         Clinton Nature Preserve
Cost:             $10 per Scout
                    $5 per Leader
Check-in will begin at 4pm on Friday, March 23. Final rosters should be turned in at the evening Cracker Barrel.

The cost is $10 per Scout and $5 per leader. Leader fees do not include a camp patch. Additional patches are available
for $3 each.  Checks should be made payable to "Crew 760" .

A representative will be onsite at 3:00 Friday, March 23, for campsite assignments. These are on a first com, first
served basis. Due to the large number of Scouts and leaders attending it is very important that everyone be aware of
camp site size restrictions.
Camp latrines will be available for use by all so please assist the staff by maintaining their cleanliness.

Only in designated parking areas. Vehicles in campsite for quartermaster drop off only. Quartermaster trailers are
allowed in campsites.

Fires and Cooking:
All fire lays must be off the ground. Remember, "Leave No Trace".
Troops are responsible for all meals with the exception of Friday evening, when the Order of the Arrow will have
meals available for a fee.

Water is available at the farmhouse and the red barn.

Friday Evening Arrow of Light and Webelos Crossover:
Friday evening the Order of the Arrow and the Indian Springs District will be holding our Arrow of Light ceremony and
Webelos Crossover event. Join us as we recognize and honor our senior Webelos Scouts on the earning of the highest
rank in Cub Scouting and then be on hand to accept these Scouts as the cross to teh Troops and begin their journey in
Boy Scouts. Even if you are not accepting new Scouts, come watch the ceremony and our award winning ceremony

Saturday Campfire and Awards Ceremony:
There will be a campfire program and awards ceremony Saturday evening at approximately 8:00pm. The O.A. chapter
will escort Troops to Campfire for awards, skits, Indian celebrations and more. Please advise the staff at check in if
you will be departing prior to campfire.

Leadership Requirements:
All units are required to have a minimum of 2 registered adult leaders at all times.

Quiet Time:
Between 11:00 pm and 6:15 am.

Church Service:
Sunday "Scout's Own" services will begin Sunday at 9:00 am to around 9:20.
